Maintain, Update and Repair the computer systems and IT infrastructure

You maintain, update, tweak and repair the computer systems and IT infrastructure of MAW Investment. This includes setting up new technologies, configuring systems, testing new products, running regular maintenance checks and keeping up-to-date with information security issues.

You will be working directly with the IT equipment and performing hands-on technical installation and/or maintenance tasks on the organisation’s servers, network devices and cables, desktops, laptops and printers, operating systems, database systems and software applications.

Provide IT Helpdesk service

You might be working on an IT helpdesk, answering phone calls and assessing any technical queries that arise. You provide everyday technical support for the individuals using the computer systems and I.T. network.

You will be responsible for troubleshooting any problems in the most efficient way possible. If you cannot solve a technical hitch, you will pass on the problem to a more senior technical support officer, who may provide friendly, desk-side support to users.
